(Miklós Forrai, Budapest, spring 1959) Ungherese: 'Hálával gondolunk hazánkfiára, Liszt Ferencre, a magyar zeneélet egyik életrehívójára, amikor e kórusgyüjteményt közreadjuk. Sok adósság terheli szívünket, ebböl szeretnénk törleszteni. Erre kötelez minket a magyar, európai és az egyetemes kóruskultúra, de talán még fokozottabban a magyar hagyományok tisztelete és ápolása is. Így született meg e kiadvány, melynek hét müve most jelenik meg elöször magyar földön, és így került e gyüjteménybe Liszt összes kórusmüveinek jegyzéke. A kórusmüveket jótorkú dalosainknak, a kórusjegyzéket pedig lelkes karvezetöknek és múltat tisztelö zenetudósainknak szántuk, hogy így valamennyien összefogva, közös-régi adósságunkat apránként letörleszthessük.'
