The "Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides" is known as one of the best symphonic wind bands in the world. Their yearly concerts in Bozar Brussels are famous and the cd recordings contains more than often original works from Belgian composers. This album contains Belgian compositions for flute and wind band including, next to a transcription of a classical romantic concerto by Peter Benoit, three contemporary pieces for flute and wind band by renowned composers Dirk Brossé, Wouter Lenaerts and Francois Glorieux. It puts the spotlight on the most talented flautist Yves Segers.
La "Musique royale symphonique des Guides de Belgique" est connue comme l'un des meilleurs orchestres symphoniques à vent au monde.
