Ulteriori informazioni / contenuti	Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers - An Artwork of Vincent van Gogh” was commissioned by Nakanoshima Junior High School, Nagaoka city in Niigata prefecture, Japan. 'Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers' is an oil painting by Vincent van Gogh, which was the last of his 'Sunflower series.' This very last piece of the series does not have the artist's sign ature, so there is a doubt of imitation. In spite of its dishonor, Van Gogh's fifteen sunflowers are vibrant and express emotions associated with the life of sunflowers: b right yellow of the full bloom to arid browns of wilting and death; all of the stages woven through these polar opposites, which captures every set of eyes. Satoshi Kiryuu, the band director of Nakanoshima Junior High School Wind Band, said, 'Even if we are not accepted, even if our goal is beyond our ability, we make progress from disappointments willingly, enthusiastically, passionately, and sometimes mad .' Based on these words, Satoshi Yagisawa, the composer of this piece, depicts two sides of Vincent van Gogh, one of which is not accepted.
