Questo CD offre una vasta gamma di arrangiamenti per vari strumenti solisti con accompagnamento orchestrale di fiati. Gli arrangiatori Andy Clark e Andrew Clark hanno scritto brani solisti di tre secoli di strumentazione orientata alla pratica. Da un lato sono garantite una voce solista (in parte con elevate esigenze) e dall'altro voci per gli strumenti a fiato e percussionisti di ragionevole difficoltà.
Sono inoltre registrate composizioni moderne per solo e orchestra di Ed Huckeby, David Shaffer, Larry Neeck e un assolo per rullante e orchestra di Donald J. Young e Austin Spika dei Washinton Winds e solisti di spicco. |
