Ulteriori informazioni / contenuti	Der Gregorianische Gesang gehört zu meinen Kindheitserinnerungen. In Corpataux (Schweiz), meiner Grossmutters Dorf, sang der Kirchenchor auf lateinisch. Aus dieser Zeit bleiben mir der sakrale, geheimnisvolle Charakter des Lateinischen, meine Neigung zum Unisonogesang und den Textmodulationen. Credo ist von diesen Elementen stark geprägt und auch grösstenteils von der Nummernsymbolik (7/4 Takte wenn von Gott gesprochen wird, 4/4 für Jesus, 3/4 und 4/4 Takt wenn es um die Inkarnation des Geistes in die Materie geht, usw.) und einer Art Figuralismus inspiriert. Die Uraufführung fand 1999 an den Adventskonzerten von Villars-sur-Glâne (Schweiz) statt; das 'Divertimento vocale' sang unter der Leitung von Hubert Reidy. The gregorian chant is part of my childhood memories. In Corpataux (Switzerland), the village of my grandmother, the parish choir sang in latin. From that period forward, I have retained the memory of the sacred and mysterious character of latin, together with a visceral reaction to the unison chant and text inflection. These elements are strongly imbedded in the fabric of the Credo, which uses specific meters as numeric metaphors (7 beat measures referring to God, 4 to Jesus, with 3, and then 4, representing the incarnation of the spirit). The first performance was given at the Advent Concerts of Villars-sur-Glâne (Switzerland) in 1999, with Hubert Reidy conducting the 'Divertimento vocale' choir of Fribourg. Il est aussi en grande partie inspiré par la symbolique des nombres (mesure à 7 temps pour parler de Dieu, à 4 pour Jésus, à 3 puis à 4 pour parler de l'incarnation de l'esprit dans la matière, etc.) et par un certain figuralisme. La création a eu lieu en 1999 aux Concerts de l'Avent de Villars-sur-Glâne (Suisse); le 'Divertimento vocale' chantait sous la direction d'Hubert Reidy.
